Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows. That's the title of the final book of the Harry Potter Series by the critically acclaimed J.K Rowling.... And it looks like the release should be very soon, considering that orders are being taken although no release date has been set, and that it wasn't long after J.K revealed the titled "Half-blood prince" one year ago that the book actually came out.
My prediction? July 2007. It should be about right...
Right, let's talk about today...
I was late... well a bit late, for the Sec 1 registration briefing before the actual event began. Long pants was a little scratchy... *scratch scratch*
It was at about 8 plus before most of the students came... I was posted to the Conference room to work with Mr Ho on the pupils pending to transfer out. It tends to get very quiet when i'm alone...
*quiet*
*crickets*
Ms Quek kept asking me if I wanted to eat anything... haha... It was rather cool to see the new sec 1 cohort... I was imagining the same situation when I was in their shoes just 2 years ago...
WOW.
Time flies... :(
After the debrief, some of the councilors and I went to IKEA, where we met Mrs Wong and her Husband! x) After which, we took a cab to Orchard Cineleisure to watch "Eragon"... Meanwhile, I kept telling myself to be patient and to give the sneak preview of DEATH NOTE : THE LAST NAME tonight a miss and wait for my folks...
Oh yes.
PLEASE!
There is no such thing called DEATH NOTE 2.
It's called DEATH NOTE: THE LAST NAME.
Some ridiculous crackpot local film distributor went to change the title and gave it a number 2 in the centre... BUT Still... I must be thankful that they brought in the movies...
Eragon was rather okay... I felt that it was definately rushed in many places... Quite a few parts of the movie was different from the book... And that's both good and bad. Like all "aspiring to be movie series" type of show, Eragon ended on a rather unexpected cliffhanger. Check it out, if you have the time.
Don't know if I'll write later... Maybe, maybe not...
